Sightsavers India partner- AARAMBH, Bhopal in collaboration with Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital, has organized a workshop on “Universalization of Eye Health- DR and Glaucoma Integration”. Along with medical officers of government health facilities (including PHCs, UPHCs and HWCs) and government Ophthalmic Assistants, CMHO Dr Prabhakar Tiwari, DPM DBCS Dr Neelu Gupta has also participated in the workshop. DR strategy and planning of newly launched mobile eye health unit has been discussed during the workshop.

A session has also been conducted for experience sharing of mobile van moving in the government health facilities. Dr Ansul from Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital has facilitated an orientation session on DR and Glaucoma – symptoms and screening. CMHO Dr Prabhakar Tiwari has also addressed the participants and shared his view on mobile van strategy. He also instructed the representative to provide support in eye screening.
