Weak Economic Condition is the main cause of child labour in agriculture sector together with limited access to quality education, inadequate agricultural technology and access to child – Adolescents labour and traditional attitudes towards children’s participation in agricultural activities.

Children are most often involved in child labour because their parents or guardians consider it ‘normal’ for children to work, and sometimes for children’s own survival and that of their families. Aarambh is working closely in 14 villages of Sonkatch Block of Dewas District to understand the plight of children working along with their parents from the perspective of the children, families and communities at large. We have been  succeed in enrolling more than 100 non school going children who are going for work along with their parents to nearby Government schools. 

Different Community Awareness activities with a community Led Approaches for creating models in 14 Villages with an aim to  declare these villages  safe villages with Child Labour and Early Child Marriage  become a high priority mission of AARAMBH
